Indonesia’s coastal and inland vessels face constant salt spray, high humidity, and reversing slewing loads. For the Tadano Z500 steering gear, we customized a compact external-gear ring that handles long-term corrosion and stable rotation in that harsh maritime setting.

Made from 42CrMo steel, the raceway is precision-turned and we CNC-drill blocking holes. Each unit gets thorough surface cleaning to remove residues that accelerate wear. Rigorous gear meshing and clearance tests ensure smooth, backlash-controlled operation – critical for steering safety – and gear teeth hit DIN Class 7 precision.

Our anti-salt-fog multi-layer sealing and dedicated grease channels block seawater mist, preventing rust and extending life. Every bearing is inspected against confidential drawings; we photograph machining, testing, finished product, waterproof packing, and even vessel installation. The compact design fits marine steering systems perfectly. Engineered for heavy annual hours, this mini external ring gives Indonesian fleets consistent, corrosion-resistant rotation.
