Project Overview
Ecuador’s mountainous mines are muddy, dusty, and unforgiving. The CAT 345B works long shifts with constant digging and slewing, so we built an internal-gear slewing ring that matches its OEM specs and survives those conditions.
It’s solid 42CrMo steel. We precision-turn the raceways, then quench the inner track to boost surface hardness, with gear teeth reaching DIN Class 7. Our workshop does precise CNC drilling for all mounting and blocking holes, followed by thorough surface cleaning to remove any debris that could cause premature wear.
Reinforced multi-layer sealing and optimized grease channels block mud and abrasive dust effectively. Before shipment, every dimension is checked against confidential drawings. The entire production and delivery – from machining to wooden case packing to on-site installation – is recorded in photos. Rated for more than 2,000 hours per year, this heavy internal ring keeps Ecuadorian excavators swinging steadily, shift after shift.
