Project Overview
Brazil’s outdoor amusement parks are hot, humid, and rainy – and Ferris wheels run for long hours under alternating passenger loads. Safety and stability are non-negotiable. We engineered a heavy-duty external-gear slewing ring specifically for large Ferris wheels, meeting both OEM precision and local safety standards.
Made from 42CrMo steel, the inner raceway is integrally quenched and hardness-tested for long-term load capacity. We clean every surface, measure dimensions, and inspect the outer ring fully before assembly. Then we run gear meshing tests to fine-tune clearance, ensuring smooth, quiet rotation with no jitter.
Our multi-layer dust and waterproof sealing, plus optimized grease passages, keep moisture and grit away from internal parts. The whole process – from machining to final test – is captured in photos. All indicators are checked against confidential drawings before wooden case packing and container shipping. Designed for year-round operation, this large external slewing ring provides the safe, reliable support that Brazilian Ferris wheels need.
