Project Overview

Saudi coastal ports are scorching hot, salty, and full of continuous heavy loading cycles for container and bulk handling gear. We custom-manufactured a heavy-duty external-gear slewing ring matched to Kato NK400 port standards to handle frequent heavy rotary operations in that mixed marine-desert environment.

Fabricated from solid 42CrMo steel, the inner raceway is precision-turned and integrally quenched to boost hardness and abrasion resistance. CNC drilling processes blocking and mounting holes, with strict inspection of outer hole spacing for accurate assembly. After assembly, professional sealing strip installation creates a full protective barrier. Gear teeth are hardened to DIN Class 7 for stable, low-backlash transmission under heavy dynamic loads.

Upgraded salt-resistant sealing and dedicated grease channels block saline mist, sand, and cargo dust to prevent internal rust and wear. All parameters are calibrated against drawings. Our photos cover precision machining, heat treatment, assembly, sealing, finished product, and packaging. Built for 2,000+ hours annually, this large ring delivers stable, long-lasting rotation for all heavy port lifting equipment in Saudi Arabia.
