Project Overview
New Zealand’s coastal wind farms get strong sea winds, salt-laden air, and year-round fatigue loads. For wind turbine yaw and pitch slewing bearings, we built a heavy-duty external-gear ring matched to Kato NK100 standards that handles low-speed rotation under complex wind conditions.
The entire bearing is forged from 42CrMo steel. External gear surfaces are precision-machined and thoroughly cleaned to remove burrs and contaminants. Using a single-row four-point contact ball design, raceways are induction-hardened and gears reach DIN Class 7 to resist repeated wind impacts. We display finished units in multiple dimensions for quality verification.
Salt-fog-resistant sealing and specialized lubrication channels stop coastal salt mist penetration. All dimensions are calibrated against confidential drawings. Our photos capture multi-angle finished views, partial structure, and cleaning procedures. Designed for long continuous operation, this ring provides steady, lasting rotary support for New Zealand’s onshore and coastal wind farms.
