Project Overview
Brazil’s onshore and offshore wind farms face strong alternating winds, tropical humidity, and long slow-speed rotation. For wind turbine yaw and pitch bearings, we customized a large external-gear ring matching Kato NK400 specs to provide stable performance.
Constructed from 42CrMo steel, we CNC-drill blocking and mounting holes, then inspect raceways and test hardness to ensure stable fatigue resistance. Surface cleaning removes every machining debris that could scratch internal races, followed by standardized assembly. Gear teeth are induction-hardened to DIN Class 7 for smooth transmission under variable wind impacts.
Multi-layer waterproof/anti-rust sealing and low-temperature stable grease channels resist coastal humidity and rain. Every bearing is verified against confidential drawings, then wrapped and boxed. Our photo record covers machining, testing, finished product, and packaging. Rated for thousands of hours yearly, this heavy external ring delivers long-term reliable rotation for Brazil’s wind projects.
