Project Overview
Saudi desert mines are extreme – scorching heat, fine abrasive sand, and relentless digging. For 50-ton-plus excavators like the Kato NK500, we engineered a large external-gear slewing ring that stands up to round-the-clock heavy swings in that environment.
High-strength 42CrMo steel; the inner raceway is hardness-tested after heat treatment to boost impact and wear resistance. We precision-machine outer hole spacing for accurate mounting and thoroughly clean surfaces to remove tiny scraps that cause premature failure. After assembly, professional gear meshing calibration ensures stable, jitter-free rotation. Gear teeth are induction-hardened to DIN Class 7 for long-term heavy loads.
Our reinforced dustproof sealing and high-temperature grease channels block desert sand and handle extreme heat. All tech indicators are cross-checked against confidential drawings. We photo-record the whole chain: precision testing, finished product, fumigated wooden case, container transport. Built for 2,000+ hours annually, this ring gives Saudi mining machinery reliable rotation in the harshest desert conditions.
